    EPS TOPIK Test 2012 schedule in East Timor

    According to the MOU on the Sending of Workers between the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea (MOEL) and the Secretariat of State for Vocational Training and Employment(SSVTE) of Timor-Leste, the 5th Test of Proficiency in Korean(EPS-TOPIK) in Timor-Leste is to be conducted as follows.

    All job seekers who want to work in Korea under the Employment Permit System should pass EPS-TOPIK, implemented by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) authorized by the MOEL, and only those who passed the test are allowed to submit the job application form for EPS.

    1. Test Date : May 27, 2012/ 10:30~11:40(Session 1), 15:00~16:10(Session 2)
      All examinees must show up by the designated time(by 09:30 for the Session 1, by 14:00 for the Session 2) at the designated test room of the test venue.
    2. The(expected) number of passers

      All applicants of 5th EPS-TOPIK can select only 1 type of industry among ‘Manufacturing’ or ‘Fishery’. Choice of other type of industry is not allowed. Selected industry isn’t changeable afterwards.
    3. Qualifications
      • Persons aged between 18 and 39 (Persons born between May 28, 1972 and May 27, 1994)
      • Persons who submitted a certificate of career or an equivalent document as having experience with construction more than 1 year.
        * MTOSB makes a decision about a standard of recognized career
      • Persons who have not been convicted of imprisonment or heavier punishment
      • Persons who have no record of deportation or departure orders from the Republic of Korea
      • Persons who are not restricted from departure of home country
    4. Registration procedure
      • Period of Registration: May 2 ~ May 4, 2012 (for 3days).
        Registration hours: 09:00 ~ 17:00
      • Place: Overseas Employment Training Center(OETC)
      • Registration method: Individual visit registration
      • Required documents
        • Application form (Free distribution at registration places, only to the applicants
          who paid the test fee
          )
          Registration numbers are written on each application form, and one applicant can receive and submit one application form. If there is any error in an application form, correct it with correction fluid or tape and submit it.
        • A copy of passport (or ID card)
        • 2 photographs of 3.5 x 4.5cm (taken within 6 months)
        • Receipt of test fee
    5. Test Fee (check with HRD resident officer)
      • Test Fee: 24 USD
      • Payment method: Pay at the registration place
        If an applicant who has unavoidable reasons to cancel his/her registration during registration period, the applicant can get a full refund. (However, re-application after cancellation is not allowed).
    Questions will be selected both from the open question book and from the newly developed closed questions.

    Test Structure & Allotment of Scores and passing standard
    • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
    • R/C and L/C will be implemented continuously without a break.
