    EPS TOPIK Test 2012 scheule in Thailand

    According to the MOU on the Sending of Workers between the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea(MOEL) and the Ministry of Labour of the Kingdom of Thailand(MLKT), 12th Test of Proficiency in Korean (EPS-TOPIK) in Thailand is to be conducted as follows.

    All job seekers who want to work in Korea under the Employment Permit System should pass the EPS-TOPIK, implemented by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) authorized by the MOEL, and only those who passed the test are allowed to submit the job application form for EPS.
    1. Test Time and Date: April 29(Sunday), 2012
      • 10:00~11:10 (Session 1), 14:30~15:40 (Session 2)
      • All examinees must show up by the designated time (09:00 for the session 1, 13:30 for the session 2) at the designated test room of the designated test venue.
    2. (Allowed) Type of Industry: Manufacturing, Agriculture/Livestock,  Construction
      All applicants of 12th EPS-TOPIK can only choose one among ‘Manufacturing’, ‘Agriculture/Livestock’ or ‘Construction’ for selection of the type of industry. Choice of other type of industry is not allowed. Basically, your choice of industry cannot be changed afterwards, so please consider the industry carefully.

    3. Implementation of the Skills test
      The passers of Manufacturing, Construction and Agriculture/Livestock industry can take the skills test additionally by his/her individual choice. Detailed schedule will be announced with the test result of the EPS-TOPIK.
      Skills test is optional. The persons obtain superior results in the skills test can be recommended to Korean employers preferably.
    4. Test Venue and Time : April 19, 2012 (Thursday)
      Test venue and time will be announced on the website of the DOE/ and the bulletin board of each registration place on Thursday, April 19, 2012
    5. Qualifications
      • Persons aged between 18 and 39 (Persons born between April 30, 1972 and April 29, 1994)
      • Persons who have not been convicted of imprisonment or heavier punishment
      • Persons who have no record of deportation or departure orders from the Republic of Korea
      • Persons who are not restricted from departure of home country
    6. Registration procedure
      • Period of Registration: March 26, 2012 ~ March 30, 2012 (for 5 days)
        Registration hours: 09:00 ~ 16:00 (lunch break 12:00 – 13:00)
      • Registration Place of Each Region
      • Registration method: Individual visit registration
      • Required documents
        • Application form (Free distribution at registration places)
        • A copy of passport (or ID card)
        • 2 photographs of 3.5 x 4.5cm (taken within 6 months)
    7. Test Fee
      • Test Fee: 24 USD (or the equivalent in Thai Baht (on the exchange rate of the announcement day)

    9. Qualifications(Eligibility)

    Questions will be selected both from the open question book and from the newly developed closed questions.

    • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
    • R/C and L/C will be implemented continuously without a break.
